The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce Environmental Council
The mission of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce Environmental Council is to encourage engagement and action around environmental issues within the greater Brighton area by supporting, promoting and initiating projects that heighten the connection between the community, economy and natural environment.Vision Statement:The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce Environmental Council was created because its leaders believe that environmental stewardship provides for a more environmentally conscious, economically viable and deeply connected community. The Environmental Council will work to not only engage the community in environmental efforts, but will also encourage community members to take action around environmental initiatives. The Environmental Council will promote and support environmental initiatives within the greater Brighton area by initiating projects and outreach efforts that encourage waste reduction, energy savings, environmental conservation, fiscal responsibility and education. The Environmental Council will provide a place for the community to engage in and act upon environmental issues in order to lead the community towards a more sustainable future.
