High Impact Leadership Certification Series
September 2018 – August 2019
The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Humanergy and HRM Innovations to offer a High Impact Leadership Certification Series beginning on September 26. The series will consist of twelve monthly half-day sessions running from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the GBCC conference room. This program has been generously sponsored by Lake Trust Credit Union. The High Impact Leadership Certificate can be obtained by attending ten sessions designed to cultivate leaders’ competencies to develop themselves, lead others and lead the organization. These monthly sessions have a strong focus on implementing what is learned which results in the ability of aspiring as well as experienced leaders to master and apply the skills they need to succeed.
Invest in the people who oversee the execution of your organization’s strategies! The leaders most responsible for an organization’s success or failure work on the front lines. Equip these difference makers to communicate, coach, train, motivate and develop others. Humanergy, HRM Innovations and the GBCC have partnered to offer a series of courses that front-load follow-through and ensure application of skills on the job.
The goal of this series is to help managers and leaders learn and, most importantly, improve job performance by providing:
- High quality content. Materials used have been researched, field-tested and are user-friendly.
- Experiential learning. Sessions focus on real-life examples drawn from the participants themselves.
- Action planning and review. At every session, participants create a plan for applying the training then report back on actions taken and lessons learned at the next session.
- Bosses are involved. Each participant’s boss receives a monthly email with suggested questions to ask their employee in order to encourage ongoing application of learning. This heightens the accountability to follow through on learning. Participants report back to the group about actions/insights and receive group coaching.
Participants must attend at least ten of the twelve sessions in order to receive the High Impact Leadership Certificate. Each course builds upon the previous ones; lessons learned and best practices from one course will be applied to the next. Participants are strongly encouraged to enroll in all twelve sessions but individual registration is also available.
