Zingerman's Book Read Discussion

Chamber Book Read Discussion: The Power of Beliefs in Business by Ari Weinzweig. As we announced at the Zingerman’s Power Lunch in October, we are kicking off a Chamber book read of Ari’s latest book in the “Guide to Good Leading” Series. The Power of Beliefs in Business is a 600-page culmination of 3 years of research and reflection. Whether we realize it or not, our beliefs have a major impact on how things go in our professional and personal lives. What we believe about ourselves, our organization, our work and the people we work with will significantly alter the outcomes we get – right down to our very success or failure. Our Book Read will provide a venue for Chamber members to exchange thoughts and experiences pertaining to beliefs and develop belief-based business strategies. These monthly discussions will be led by Chamber member Judy Barich, who holds a Graduate degree in Human Performance Technology from the University of Michigan. Judy is familiar with Zingerman’s approach to business from having attended several ZingTrain events and actually practicing these proven strategies. Our first meeting will cover the Introduction, pages 5-64. Feel free to bring a lunch! Register at brightoncoc.org if you plan to join us.
