Power Lunch: Meeting the Millennial Challenge

Meeting the Millennial Challenge: Hiring, Retaining and Developing our Younger Workforce. We are pleased to partner with our Greater Brighton Young Professionals on this month’s Power Lunch to present some insight into this trending topic. Millennials are now the largest population in the American workforce, wielding significant buying power and social influence. Many businesses, however, have found millennials difficult to satisfy, retain, and develop within the workplace. Why is that, and how can we succeed with a millennial workforce? Who are the millennials? How can companies attract and retain this young talent? Join us for a thought-provoking discussion as we tackle the business challenges of engaging with the millennial workforce. We will review some enlightening statistics on millennial jobs, income, housing and spending, as well as key social factors contributing to the millennial mindset. Our event will conclude with a panel discussion, featuring Livingston County professionals, who will share their experiences, challenges and successes in this area. Thanks to Brightline Technologies, Inc. for sponsoring this event. Our sincere appreciation goes to Grace & Porta Benefits for generously sponsoring our Power Lunch series. Please register at brightoncoc.org no later than May 19 if you plan to attend.
