This 60 minute workshop is designed to help HR leaders and company owners think through key elements of their own talent strategy.  During the session, they will create a summary talent management strategy and implementation plan to ensure they attract, retain and develop the talent needed to survive and grow.  Attendees will leave the workshop with a valuable plan of action.

The presentation begins by discussing the critical dynamics happening in America’s workforce.  The War for Talent, generational differences and the aging workforce are topics covered.  Next, succession planning is discussed.  Typical problems, along with practical recommendations for succession planning are revealed.  Lastly, older workers leave with tremendous amounts of institutional knowledge, skills and relationships.  We discuss identifying the critical items, as well as documenting them and sharing them with successors. Attendees should expect to laugh, learn, and leave with practical knowledge to ensure their organizations transition successfully into the future.
