About the speaker:
Jim Bitterle, Managing Partner, joined EDSI in 2008 to lead its management consulting division, EDSI Consulting. He brings more than 30 years of corporate leadership and management consulting experience to the company.
Jim’s consulting career began at Deloitte Consulting, where he was involved in a variety of operational, organizational restructuring and strategy consulting engagements. Jim also spent six years as a Managing Director at Amherst Partners, where he managed a variety of organizational design and operational improvement consulting projects.
At EDSI, Jim is responsible for EDSI’s national consulting operations. He is currently spearheading EDSI’s efforts to help clients optimize their organizations to support growth, diversification, and cultural improvement.
In addition to Jim’s consulting and management skills, he’s a seasoned trainer and speaker. Jim directly provided executive focused training for Fortune 100 clients such as Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and Cisco Systems. Jim has spoken to groups ranging from 20 to 3,000 attendees. He is regularly rated as the top presenter at events. As a prior Divisional President and COO, Jim provides real world examples, as well as deep subject matter expertise as a trainer or speaker.
Prior to his consulting career, Jim spent more than 10 years as an executive with profit and loss responsibility leading both domestic and international business units for multi-national corporations such as Flint Ink Corporation and Gibson Musical Instruments, Inc. Jim has a track record of successfully building organizations that have grown and prospered under his leadership.
Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Broad School at Michigan State University and has a master’s degree in Finance and Marketing, with honors, from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
