High Impact Leadership Training: Selecting & Evaluating Talent
"Selecting & Evaluating Talent"
This workshop is offered as part of the GBACC Global Leadership Institute High Impact Leadership Certification Series. The seminar will cover the following topics related to hiring/evaluating talent:
- Understand the implications of bad hires as well as the benefits of great hires
- Conduct an analysis developing a job profile
- Define key components of a successful selection system including appropriate interview questions and onboarding
- Define performance management and develop clear expectations/goals for staff
- Communicate company's vision and how one's role fits the organization
- Provide feedback with measurable performance indicators through effective performance review
Invest in the people who oversee the execution of your organization’s strategies! The leaders most responsible for an organization’s success or failure work on the front lines. Equip these difference makers to communicate, coach, train, motivate and develop others. Humanergy, HRM Innovations and the GBCC have partnered to offer a series of courses that front-load follow-through and ensure application of skills on the job.
The goal of this series is to help managers and leaders learn and, most importantly, improve job performance by providing:
- High quality content. Materials used have been researched, field-tested and are user-friendly.
- Experiential learning. Sessions focus on real-life examples drawn from the participants themselves.
- Action planning and review. At every session, participants create a plan for applying the training then report back on actions taken and lessons learned at the next session.
- Bosses are involved. Each participant’s boss receives a monthly email with suggested questions to ask their employee in order to encourage ongoing application of learning. This heightens the accountability to follow through on learning. Participants report back to the group about actions/insights and receive group coaching.
