Economic Development Power Series: Travel & Tourism in Livingston County/Michigan. Join the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce, Ann Arbor SPARK and the Livingston County Convention and Visitors Bureau for an update on the travel and tourism industry in Livingston County and Michigan. Our guest speaker will be Dave Lorenz, Vice President of Travel Michigan and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Using his 15 years of experience with Travel Michigan, Mr. Lorenz will give us an update on the Michigan Tourism industry, Pure Michigan campaign (its history and current focus) and what’s around the bend in coming years. Mary Zucchero, Executive Director of the Livingston County Convention and Visitors Bureau, will provide details about Livingston County tourism results and status.
GBACOC’s Power Lunches are designed to bring to our business community updates on economic and political issues trending locally, statewide and at the national level. We feature business and governmental “movers and shakers” who will provide insight into their leadership perspectives and corporate impact on our local business climate. Our sincere thanks to the Livingston County Convention and Visitors Bureau for sponsoring today’s event. Thanks, also, to Grace & Porta Benefits for their Executive Sponsorship of this year’s Power Lunch series. Register online at brightoncoc.org no later than March 29 if you plan to join us.
