Continuing Education for Insurance Agents
Wednesday, May 17
Continuing Education Classes for Insurance Agents presented by Paul Davis. The property damage restoration industry is complex and ever-changing therefore it is important to stay current with this industry’s knowledge and trends. The Paul Davis CE Program has been designed to provide insurance agents and adjusters with up-to-date and relevant information. All continuing education classes are approved for credit according to state rules and guidelines. The following classes are being offered at no charge and include lunch:
9:00 a.m. – Noon. Ethics: Decision Making Tools for Insurance Professionals (3 credits). This is a 3-hour CE class that defines ethics and ethical behavior, compared to legal and moral behavior. Participants will engage in multiple opportunities to discuss ethical/non-ethical behavior. Ethical theories will be introduced as well as examples of decision-making tools.
12:30 – 3:30 p.m. Inventory & Evaluation (3 credits). No one can remember everything they own nor can they remember the value after they have had a fire loss or water damage. The key is to have a record of what the policyholder owns before a loss and be sure they have consulted with their insurance advisor about limits, valuable articles and scheduling items. This course will give insurance professionals information that will help them convey the importance of completed home inventory before disaster happens. Lunch will be served from 12 noon – 12:30p.m. Contact Michelle at 734.930.0303 or email mmilliken@pauldavis.com for more information and to register.
