Description: Companies have long realized that corporate growth and profitability are inextricably tied to employee attitudes. So, we began to measure employee satisfaction. Then we studied engagement and more recently workplace culture. But it all left us wanting. If "happy employee" is the key to growth and profit, what is the definitive measure of your success as an employer in meeting employee needs and wants? This session thinks much bigger than happiness and satisfaction, exploring the entirety of the Employee Experience.
 
After defining the term "employee experience" we explore its six pillars. Based on studies by such organizations as Deloitte and work of the Josh Bersin Academy we look at how such factors as the work environment, the meaningfulness of the work undertaken, and trust in leadership all impact the employment experience, from job application to retirement. Then we look at the work of HR and CEOs in creating employee experience, as well as the necessary partnerships within the organization that can make or break the organization's work in shaping and measuring the experience.
