CE Classes for Insurance Agents

Continuing Education Classes for Insurance Agents presented by Paul Davis. The property damage restoration industry is complex and ever-changing therefore it is important to stay current with this industry’s knowledge and trends. The Paul Davis CE Program has been designed to provide insurance agents and adjusters with up-to-date and relevant information. All continuing education classes are approved for credit according to state rules and guidelines. The following classes are being offered at no charge and include lunch:
9:00 a.m. – Noon. Ethics: Decision Making Tools for Insurance Professionals (3 credits). This is a 3-hour CE class that defines ethics and ethical behavior, compared to legal and moral behavior. Participants will engage in multiple opportunities to discuss ethical/non-ethical behavior. Ethical theories will be introduced as well as examples of decision-making tools.
12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Fire! (1 credit). This 1-hour class gives a basic overview of fire damage restoration processes. Upon completion of this seminar, the attendee will understand the issues relating to fire and smoke losses, technical issues of the restoration process, and procedural expectations of restoration contractors. The discussion will include a review of the anatomy of fire and smoke as well as cleaning procedures and equipment overviews.
