The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce and
The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce and Little Diablo Salsa are pleased to present Brighton’s second annual Farm to Table Experience, an outdoor dinner designed to taste, promote and educate on local farming and agriculture in Livingston County. Money raised will provide funding for the enhancement of the Brighton Farmers’ Market and continue to support the implementation of bridge card technology and materials at the market. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit the Livingston County Hunger Council, a coalition of diverse individuals, businesses, faith-based organizations, schools, municipalities and non-profits, committed to finding sustainable solutions for hunger in Livingston County. Local Michigan farmers will be used to gather only the freshest of locally sourced produce and meats. Brighton’s Flex Tech High School Culinary Department, along with Chef Steve Pilon of The Wooden Spoon and co-winner of the 10th Annual Gleaners Iron Chef competition, will engage students in the culinary program to assist with preparation of the meal. For dinner, guests will be offered a new perspective on the bountiful harvest of our area’s rich agricultural tradition. This year’s menu will be unique, with an international flair, and will showcase the versatility of our local farmers and artisans. Michigan wine pairings and craft beer will add to the delight.Seating is limited! This event was sold out in 2013, so get your tickets now!
