INVITATION FOR ARTISTS & FINE CRAFTERS
You are cordially invited to submit an entry for the
20th Annual Art in the Park
to be held in the beautiful town square in downtown Pinckney. This art
& fine crafts event continues to grow in popularity and quality and
is heavily promoted by local media. Over 135 artists participated in
the 2009 event. This event marks the beginning of the season!
This
traditional event is sponsored by the Pinckney-Lakeland-Hamburg-Hell
(PLHH) Chamber (a division of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of
Commerce) and is held annually the weekend following Memorial Day.
Artist
Amenities include curb-side assistance with unloading, continental
breakfast and coffee and water for artist, the artist "retreat" area,
booth sitters, complimentary vehicle parking, artist welcome packages
(2009 packages were designed by our area 'future artists' and were
amazing!) and more.
All
artists and fine crafters in all media and categories are welcome to
apply. To ensure the quality of the show all work must be designed and
executed by the accepted artist or fine crafter. All work MUST be
original...NO imports, kits, items made from kits or items using
pre-manufactured components are allowed.
ONLY ORIGINAL HAND-CRAFTED WORK!
No buy/sell - this harms the quality of the show!
Artwork must be in good taste and mindful of the show's intent and community's standards.
Booth
space is approximately 10' x 10'-remember, this is a park and trees and
other landscaping change from year to year. NEW for 2010, 15' x 15'
spaces will be available - at the same rate as the 10' x 10' spaces -
located on Howell Street (West side of Park!).
