Ambassador Program
•    Ambassadors are extensions of the Chamber Membership Director.  Although they only meet one a month for Ambassador Meetings, the opportunities are plentiful to introduce yourself to new and existing members throughout the year, stand out as VIP’s at Chamber meetings and social events, and support the Chamber in servicing our members.  Why would you want to do this?  Exposure, exposure, exposure.  For more information, please contact Karla Thomas, Membership Director at 810-227-5086 or send her an e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

AXIS – A Group For Future Leaders and Young Entrepreneurs
•    AXIS is a great opportunity to meet other young professionals and build relationships with the future leaders of our community.  The group is an energetic, dynamic group of like-minded business professionals formed for Greater Brighton Chamber members between the ages of 18 and 42.  Networking, professional development, community service and building personal relationships are all reasons to get involved with AXIS.

ConnecTech-Livingston – An Automation Alley Affiliation (formerly GLIMA-Livingston)
•    ConnecTech is the new organization that takes the place of the former GLIMA Network.  It is the premier organization for Michigan’s technology professionals, providing them with the resources, tools, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Livingston-Washtenaw Legislative League
•    The Livingston-Washtenaw Legislative League, as part of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce, was established as a non-partisan group.  The Livingston-Washtenaw Legislative League’s purpose is to help inform and update Chamber members and Livingston County of political issues and policies at both the state and national levels that directly affect all of us.  The Livingston-Washtenaw Legislative League also attempts to keep Chamber members up to speed on pending legislation at the local and national levels and access to your representatives that can potentially affect small business and individual citizens.  The Livingston-Washtenaw Legislative League, through quarterly email updates and guest speakers address hard hitting issues.  These events allow members to get answers to tough questions regarding our community and nation.

Women’s Business Network Luncheon and the WBN’s Women in Business Day
•    The Women’s Business Network of the GBACOC creates an environment for women in business, presenting opportunities for personal and professional growth.  This entity provides a dynamic forum for Greater Brighton Area Chamber members to network for increased business contacts; to learn about each other and discuss vital business issues that pertain to everyday business; and to educate members on career development.  Informational meetings are held from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month.  The Women’s Business Network is about women supporting women and power through teamwork.
