The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the 29th Annual Brighton Fine Art & Acoustic Music Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 3-5, 2012. This year the event has expanded to a three day extravaganza on Main Street in historic downtown Brighton.
As one of the most prestigious juried art festivals, this event is a favorite for highly talented artists who travel from across the state and nation to participate. For the 2012 event we will jury in approximately 100-125 artists that will line Main Street.
One artist will receive the coveted juried Artisan Guild Award which will guarantee a complimentary booth for 2013. The participating artists will also enjoy an invitation only networking reception with VIP’s and Livingston County municipal officials.
Each year we draw large attendance from Livingston County, Oakland County, Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Lansing visiting the festival to partake in event activities, savoring local foods and listening to aesthetically soothing music that creates the perfect three-way harmony between art, music and setting. Around each of our downtown restaurants on Main Street we will create music stages that will be playing throughout the event.
Visitors and locals will slip from booth to booth to speak one on one with artisans who have created the finest in original works in glass, watercolor, oils, sculpture, photography, pottery, jewelry, woodcarvings and more.
