Brighton Farmer's Market

Opening day for the highly awaited Brighton Farmers’ Market is Saturday, May 7, 2011. Karen Rogers, the Market Manager, has been organizing the event for many years, and we’re glad to say that she’s at it again this year. Each year the Brighton Farmers’ Market attracts thousands of people to downtown Brighton to purchase some of the freshest fruits and vegetables, the tastiest bread, organic honey, garden decorations, the choicest flowers and plants, as well as a huge selection of crafts and jewelry. The Farmers’ Market runs from May 7, 2011 through October 29, 2011, rain or shine.

Flower Day takes place this year on Saturday, May 21, 2011, and Harvest Fest takes place on Saturday, September 24, 2011. On both of these days Main Street is closed and filled with vendors selling the best of the best in seasonal products, whether colorful flowers in May or pumpkins and gourds in September. There are always children’s activities throughout the day at both of these festivals.

The Brighton Farmers’ Market is sponsored by the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce. We’d like to thank Karen Rogers for her continued devotion to the weekly events, and would like to encourage you to visit the Farmers’ Market, and then finish the day off by shopping and dining in downtown Brighton.
